Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3/1/2026

At DevMeetup-ET, your privacy isn't just a legal requirement for us—it's a community standard. We are developers building for developers, and we treat your data with the same respect we expect for our own.

Information We Collect

When you register for our events, join our waitlists, or submit a sponsorship inquiry, we collect basic information such as your name, email address, and professional details (like your company or role). This helps us tailor the event and ensure everyone has a great experience.

How We Use Your Email

We know how annoying spam is. We don't often send emails.

When we do reach out, it is strictly for:

  • Inquiries & Contact: Replying to your questions or sponsorship requests.
  • Event Notifications: Sending you your tickets, reminders, and post-event recaps.
  • Community Perks (The Good Stuff): Occasionally, in a non-disruptive and not spammy way, we might send an email about a community product, community released softwares, or exclusive perks. If we get something good for the community that is useful, we'll send it to you so you get those perks before anybody else.

Data Protection

Your data is securely stored and never sold to third parties. We only share relevant details with our trusted partners when absolutely necessary to organize the event (e.g., venue security or badge printing).

Your Rights

You can always opt-out of our communications. Every non-critical email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also contact us at [email protected] to request the deletion of your data from our systems.
